What we do in this pillar
Technical engineering from start to finish: from the feasibility study to on-site supervision. Rigorous analysis, correct sizing, and independent control of execution.
Technical feasibility studies
Before any investment decision, the client needs to know whether the project is technically sound and economically sustainable. We produce technical-economic feasibility studies that support the decision and the funding application, drawing on experience assessing renewable energy projects, including the viability of the OIPS - Offshore Island Porto Santo project.
Electromechanical system sizing
Sizing of electromechanical and energy systems, from generation to auxiliary systems. Experience includes mechanical design of thermal power plants (gas turbines, steam turbines and diesel engines) at EFACEC and international development of electromechanical components.
Development of sustainable technical solutions
Design of technical solutions oriented toward efficiency and the energy transition: system integration, modelling and optimisation of real performance, using tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, PVsyst and PV*SOL.
Coordination and independent technical supervision
As Owner's Engineer, we represent the client's project interests on site. In practice:
- Technical coordination and execution planning.
- Verification that installed materials and equipment match the specification.
- Supervision of electromechanical assembly and interfaces with civil works.
- Validation of tests and commissioning.
- Inspection reports with photographic records and tracking of non-conformities.
This capability is backed by real experience in electromechanical supervision of the Calheta hydroelectric plant extension - assembly of Pelton turbines, alternators and auxiliary systems.
Who this service is for
Renewable energy project promoters, owners of industrial facilities and buildings, and organisations needing independent technical coordination and supervision, from concept through project handover.
