Yes. We produce the technical documentation for applications — feasibility studies, efficiency plans, LCOE analyses, compliance reports. For funding consultancy, we offer a success-fee model where part of our remuneration is indexed to the amount of funding approved.

Accepted Answer

Yes, but with adaptation. The physical principles are universal; the strategy shifts. In Madeira the focus is preventing heat gain in summer and controlling humidity — solar orientation, shading, appropriate thermal mass, and MVHR adapted to subtropical humidity. Result: consistent comfort without intensive air conditioning, no condensation, energy bills well below the regional average.

Across the entire RAM. For audits, on-site supervision, and technical visits we travel to any point on the island; Porto Santo for projects that justify the logistics. Feasibility studies and funding applications are done remotely with regular client communication.

What does "independent supervision" actually mean in practice?

Accepted Answer

We represent the client's interests on site — not the contractor's, not the supplier's. We verify installed materials vs. specifications, control invisible critical details (airtightness membranes, thermal bridges, insulation), validate commissioning tests (Blower Door where applicable), issue photographic reports, and track resolution of non-conformities. Without independent supervision, a well-designed project can lose 20–30% performance during execution — an invisible loss that shows up on the energy bill for 20 years.
